I have been very FLOJO about writing this blog

Oh yeah, I just remembered I was doing a blog! It's hard to keep updating when you aren't traveling.

There was another earthquake here.
I was lying in bed, about to fall asleep when the bed started shaking again. It wasn’t as strong this time, but this one started more forcefully, then just kind of leveled off to a steady massage that gradually made me fall asleep (I assume that’s what happened, I can’t remember the temblor ending).

I think there have been 3 or 4 more, but they have been a lot subtler than the first one was. (P.S. as I'm posting this...a good 3 weeks after that one happened, my whole house is shaking as another one hits us. this one is somewhat more forceful than the others, but not as strong as the first.

A few weeks ago we went on one of our COPA trips (our intercambio program here). We went to a Chocolateria where we ate some strange chocolates filled with cheese (they only last 5 days max).

Then we went to Pomaire, an artesania kind of town, where I bought a pot for my chilean mom for mother's day.

We ate these gigantic empanadas (which were famous for their size, but apparently not for their riqueza) that were not as good as they looked.

Then we jumped over to Isla Negra, Pablo Neruda's third main house in Chile, where he wrote most of his poetry. This was twice as interesting for me because I had seen a movie about the house at a film festival in Montreal about a year ago, so it was cool to actually go and see it in person. We weren't allowed to take pics inside the house, but here are some from outside:
